We explored several ways to feature GramE in a way that felt friendly yet down to earth, trying both illustration styles and photo treatments. In the end, the client chose a halftone photo treatment that has a classic look with a contrast that “brings out her smiling features”. We framed GramE in a lavender circle to tie the image together with the company name as a complete logo, as well as make her “pop”. Lavender is also featured in the brand patterns and wordmark to continue the motif and lend a soft feel to the overall design. For the company name and flavor names we chose a set of typefaces that balance each other, conveying both a sense of the traditional with a modern design.  We carefully designed the look of the bag to match the logo feel which gives a full and positive experience when seen on the store shelves.
