Viscosity of the Heart | Zine

This zine explores the idea of trusting the journey: venturing off the beaten path and embracing the unknown, allowing discovery to unfold naturally. After being assigned an element (oil) without any direction, I conducted experiments to document the process. All photography in this zine was done myself, and this was my first experience with extensive photo manipulation. I enjoyed getting to add another layer of interactivity through color to call attention to the reaction of the oil and water mixed. Throughout the zine is a romantic poem on interconnectivity and two people not made of the same being unable to fit together.
